Situated near the southwest corner of Lake Maxinkuckee (1,864 acres) sits this reborn family retreat.
The Family owned a cottage here for many years, watching their family grow up. The weekend destination was special, but the structure built in the 1940’s had seen better days.
A decision was made to tear down the old cottage and build a new retreat, taking advantage of views while creating quality spaces for their children & grandchildren.
The Owners desired energy saving features be designed into the home as well as to be conscious of using sustainable materials.
